DBSync Profile and Application Setup

You can establish a connection with your application during the template import process. The initial step of the Setup Wizard involves linking to your applications.

Step 1: Import the Template

  1. Log in to your DBSync account.

  2. Navigate to the Template Library.

  3. Locate and import the Shopify Orders to the Dynamics 365 CRM template into your workspace.

Step 2: Configure Connectors

  1. Click Next to proceed to the connector setup.

  2. For each connector (Shopify and Dynamics 365 CRM), provide the necessary credentials and configuration details.

    • Ensure you have valid API credentials for both platforms.

  3. Test each connection to confirm successful integration.

Step 3: Complete the Setup

  1. Answer the prompted questions to tailor the integration to your business needs.

    • Specify data mappings, synchronization preferences, and any custom requirements.

  2. Here, you should define values for variables based on your company's specific use case.

  3. For example, you can select values for Dynamics 365 CRM transaction creation variables and Shopify Fulfillment Status for data mapping between Shopify and Dynamics 365 CRM.

  4. Create/Update Shopify Products in Dynamics 365 CRM?

    • All Products: If you select this value, all products from your Shopify store will be automatically created in Dynamics 365 CRM.

    • Order Product: Selecting this will result in the creation of products from orders in Dynamics365 CRM, not individual products.

  5. Review your configurations and click Finish to finalize the setup.

Step 4: Execute or Schedule the Sync

  • Manual Execution:

    1. Navigate to the Run tab within your DBSync workspace.

    2. Click the Run Now button to initiate the synchronization immediately.

  • Scheduled Execution:

    1. Access the Scheduler within DBSync.
