Introduction
In this article, you will learn how to configure and use the ChannelAdvisor Orders and Salesforce Integration Template in DBSync Cloud Workflow to automate the synchronization of product and order data between ChannelAdvisor and Salesforce.
This integration enables seamless data flow by mapping:
ChannelAdvisor Products → Salesforce Products
ChannelAdvisor Orders → Salesforce Accounts and Opportunities
The template comes with pre-configured field-to-field mappings and offers the flexibility to customize or extend those mappings to meet more complex business requirements. Process to run the Integration
To utilize the pre-built ChannelAdvisor Orders and Salesforce integration template, follow the below steps:
Click Add Template from the Home screen.
Select the template ChannelAdvisor Orders and Salesforce and import it into your workspace.
After importing the template, you'll be presented with a setup form.
Setup Process
On the Connection tab, connect the necessary application and grant access to ChannelAdvisor data to establish a connection to Salesforce for accounting data access.
Setup Variables
Define the values for the variables based on your company's specific use case. For example, you can select how to create/update ChannelAdvisor Products to the Salesforce Product.
Click 'Next' and click 'Run' to complete the Integration.
Finally, navigate to the Schedule tab to set up scheduling parameters for automated integration between ShipStation and QuickBooks Online.
Specify different intervals such as minutes, hours, days, or weeks to customize the schedule as needed.
Pre-built Template and Workflows
The template downloaded from the library contains various workflows which can be enabled to run the integration between ChannelAdvisor and Salesforce.
Enable the Initial Setup and Run the integration to enable QuickBooks Accounts set up as displayed in the image.
Ensure you TURN OFF the check box to 'Enable Flow' for the Initial Set up (After first Run) before you run the workflow to integrate ChannelAdvisor Orders to Salesforce using the other two workflows. The first successful run is considered for the integration.
