Introduction

DBSync for ShipStation & Dynamics365 CRM Integration is an easy to use application. It integrates ShipStation Orders with Dynamics365 CRM Account, Product, SalesOrder, Invoice, and Opportunity. DBSync provides integration with pre-built field-to-field mapping along with flexibility for more complex and dynamic mapping capability. DBSync's automatic online update enables its customers to enjoy all the product updates and features that come with every new release.

DBSync Profile and Application Setup

  • Go to www.mydbsync.com & register for Free Trial. Ensure that Source and Target Adapters are ShipStation and Dynamics365 CRM respectively.

  • Login to DBSync Cloud Workflow

  • Click on 'Login' and choose 'Cloud Workflow' as shown in the image below:

  • Provide your 'User Name' and 'Password' setup during signup and click 'Login'.

  • You will be redirected to DBSync Cloud Workflow Home Screen as shown below

  • Click on ShipStation Connector and choose 'Login to ShipStation'

  • You need to enter Credentials(API Key, API Secret), and click ‘Save Connection’ and then you can ‘Test Connection’, As shown below:

  • Click on Dynamics365 CRM Connector. Then, click on the link Connect to Dynamics365 CRM. Sign into Dynamics365 CRM to authorize DBSync for Dynamics365 CRM to connect.

  • Click 'Save' and 'Test Connection'.

  • You are now ready to run the integration using pre-built forms.

OR you can establish a connection with your application during the template import process. The initial step of the Setup Wizard involves linking to your applications.

Process to Create an Integration

To utilize the pre-built template DBSync ShipStation and Dynamics365 CRM follow the below steps:

First Step you need to Select the Integration Template

  1. In the Template Library, look for the integration template specifically designed for ShipStation and Dynamics365 CRM.

  2. Select the template and import it into your workspace.

  3. Enter a name for the integration project:

  1. After importing the template, you'll be presented with a setup form containing four simple steps.

Setup Process

  1. On the "Connection Setup" tab.

In this step we should Connect to our application to grant access to our ShipStation data and also establish a connection to Dynamics365 CRM for accounting data access.

  1. Setup Variables

    • Here, you should define values for variables based on your company's specific use case.

    • For example, you can select ShipStation Order Status and select D365 CRM transaction type.

  1. Click 'Next' to 'Run' to complete the Integration.

  1. Finally, navigate to the "Scheduling and Automation" step.

We need to Set up scheduling parameters for automated integration between ShipStation and Dynamics365 CRM. Here there are different intervals such as minutes, hours, days, or weeks. And also we can customize the schedule as needed.

You will be redirected to the 'Task Screen'.

  1. Click 'Configure' to access various workflows pre-built for the integration.

Pre-built Template and Workflows

The template downloaded from the library contains various workflows which can be enabled to run the integration between ShipStation and Dynamics365 CRM.

Make sure you ENABLE the required workflows before you run the integration.

Click the Apps icon from the left navigation toolbar to add desired applications

Or Run the integration from ‘Run’.
