Learn how to create a project and configure workflows

Introduction

A project is a collection of processes and workflows. It contains a set of instructions for pulling data out of source systems and placing it into Target Systems. A project can be a simple worklfow for email automation or can have embedded processes and worklfows for mapping between two systems.

Concepts of a Project

Create Project

Follow the steps below to create a project:

  • Login to DBSync Cloud Workflow by navigating to the DBSync website.

  • Click on 'Login' and choose 'Cloud Workflow' as shown in the image below:

  • Provide your 'User Name' and 'Password' setup during signup and click 'Login'.

  • You will be redirected to DBSync Cloud Workflow Home Screen as shown below

  • Click 'Create' next to the 'Project' icon and you will get a pop-up to provide a desired name.

  • Click Ok

  • You will be redirected to the Task screen.

Add Template

DBSync Cloud Workflow provides pre-built solution templates for various connectors enabling automation for various business operations.

In order to add a pre-built template follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to 'Home Screen'

  • Click on 'Add Template' next to the projects section

  • Choose the desired template from the list of available options

  • Click 'Import'

  • Provide a desired name for your project and click 'Next'

  • Choose to integrate or merge apps or use your own application credentials

  • Click the 'Setup' icon next to the workflow to run it or click 'Configure' to modify workflows

Import Project

You can import a project from the task screen.

Follow the steps:

  • Open a desired project

  • Click on the drop-down next to 'Task'

  • Click 'Import'

  • Choose to browse or upload a project zip folder

  • Click Save

Download or Share Project

You can download or share a project from the Flow Screen

Follow the steps:

  • Open a desired project

  • Click on the drop-down next to 'Task'

  • Click 'Create'

  • Enter a name for your process and click 'Select Agent'

  • From the list of option choose 'Assign to Bot' for creating an automated workflow.

  • You can choose to maintain manual tasks by choosing other options

  • Click Configure

  • You will be redirected to the 'Flow' Screen

  • Easily share or download projects
