Profile backup functionality will help users keep a copy of their profile whenever they change the configuration property. They can download or restore it if they find any issues in their profile.
The following are the steps they can follow to set up their profile backup.
Step 1. Once logged in on the DBSync landing page, they can click on the global setting tab
Step 2. Once clicked on the global setting, the user will land on the global setting page
Step 3. Under “global setting, “ there will be a Profile backup section.
Step 3.1. Enable the Profile backup by turning it “ON.”
Step 3.2. Under “ Download File to Directory,” define the folder path where you want to save the backup of your profile (Note: The default path will be the DBSync profile folder where the profile will be created )
Step 3.3. Please enable the retention backup to be retained for a specific time.
Step 3.4. Setup the period of retention you want to keep your data in the folder (Note: Maximum retention period can be 180 days, and default period will be 90 days )
Once inside the profile at the top panel, there will be a version history dropdown button.
Ok, clicking it will show the version history on that particular profile. As shown below
Under version history, users can see and do the following tasks.

This section will show the dates on which the changes were made to the profile
Action -
The user will be able to see options to
Download-User can download that particular version to their system
Restore -The user will be able to restore the selected version of the profile, and it will restore the settings that have been set to that particular profile file.
