Email

Introduction

The DBSync Email Action automates email-driven business processes by sending notifications, alerts, or confirmations. It allows DBSync workflows to automatically send emails as part of a business process.

Steps to Configure Email Action

This section will guide you how to use the Email action.

1. In the Flow tab, drag Email action from the Action palette on the left side and drop it on top of the Flow panel so Email is a sub-action of Flow as shown.

   
2. Click Configure.

3. Compose the email. Enter the relevant details:

   1. From: email sender

   2. To: Recipient email address (Supports multiple emails separated by commas)

   3. CC: Optional additional recipients for the email

   4. BCC: Optional additional recipients for the email

   5. Subject: subject of the email

   6. Message: plain text content that has to be sent as part of the email

      
4. Once done, click Save.

5. Click the Contract icon to minimize the task screen.

6. The workflow is ready to Run. Click the Run icon to initiate the integration.

   1. The console screen will pop-up in the lower part of the screen with the logs and operations.

      
   2. Once the process is successfully completed, the console screen will reflect the status as Process Completed and details of Data In and Data Out will be displayed.

      
   3. You will receive an email once the integration completes.

7. Check your inbox to confirm you received the email along with the message.
