# Slack

## Introduction

DBSync Cloud Workflow supports integrating chat notifications into your business workflows, allowing relevant team members to be alerted through Slack when specific conditions or events occur. This page helps you set up, configure, and use the Slack connector to automate messaging and communication tasks in DBSync.

### Prerequisites

* A valid **DBSync Cloud Workflow** account.
* A **Slack** account.
* Permissions to configure connectors in DBSync.

### Configure the Slack connector in DBSync

Log in to your DBSync Cloud Workflow dashboard.

Navigate to **Apps** in the left navigation bar.

From the list of available connectors, select **Slack** or click **Add App** under the **Slack** icon.

Click **Login to Slack (OAuth)** and connect your Slack account to complete authentication.

After authentication, click **Test Connection** to validate the integration.

Click **Save**.
