# Project

## **Introduction**

A project is a collection of processes and workflows. It contains a set of instructions to pull data out of the source systems and place it into the target systems. A project can be a simple email automation workflow or contain embedded processes and workflows to map data between two systems. A project helps you to organize your workflows and integrations.

When you navigate to the **Projects** tab from the Home tab, you will see:

1. A **Dashboard** that displays quick views to the Task Summary and the Records Moved. This Dashboard is similar to the Dashboard on the Home page. For more details, refer to this.
2. A **Projects panel** with an option that allows you to **Create** a new Project or **Add Template**.
3. A **Project table** with a list of Project **Names** along with other details like **Last 24 Hrs**, **Upcoming Tasks**, **Alerts**, and **Actions**.

### **Projects Panel**

The **Projects** panel in the middle allows you to:

* **Create a Project:** Start a new integration project.
* **Add Template:** Utilize pre-built templates for various connectors and business processes.

### **Projects Table**

Below the **Projects** panel is a projects table that lists all the project names and their details like **Last 24 Hrs**, **Upcoming Tasks**, **Alerts**, and **Actions**:

**TIP:** Enter a project name in the search bar to locate a specific Project. Use the Rows per page selector to display *10*, *20*, *30* and *All* items at a time.

Additional table features include:

* **Search Bar** – Enter a Project Name or keyword in the search bar to filter a specific project.
* **Pagination & Row Selector** – Adjust how many projects display per page.
* **Column Sorting** – Click the arrow icon next to the **Last 24 Hrs** and **Upcoming Tasks** columns to sort data accordingly.

**Create or Import Projects**

* **Create** – Opens the **New Project Wizard** to build workflows from scratch.
* **Add Template** – Imports a pre-built template directly into a new project, accelerating setup.

## **Create a Project**

1. Click **Create** on the Projects tile.

2. In the **Add Project** pop-up, enter a **Name** for your project.

> **TIP:** Choose a descriptive name that reflects the purpose of the project.

3. Click **Next** to proceed.
4. The system directs you to the **Automation** tab. Use this tab to define the workflows and processes for your project.

5. In the **Automation** tab, click **Create** to start **Process** creation.

### **Add a Template (Optional)**

**Use Pre-built Templates:** To add a pre-built integration template, navigate to the **Project** tab.

1. **Click Add Template** on the Projects tile.

2. Click **Add to Project** on the required template tile.&#x20;

   **Note:** The new template appears in the **Projects** table below. Click the Edit icon to provide a suitable custom name to the project.
3. In the **Edit Project** dialog box, provide a name for the new template that gets imported into the project and click **Save**.
4. **Configure the Integration and Set Up Workflow:** You can configure the integration by choosing whether to integrate or merge applications or use your own application credentials.

5. Click **Configure** to modify the workflows as needed.

> Note: Everytime you use a DBSync pre-built template, a small Setup button appears to initiate the Setup process. For more details regarding Setup, refer to the template document for the template you selected from the template library.

### **Import an Automated Task into a Project**

To import an Automated Task into a DBSync Cloud Workflow project in, follow these steps:

1. **Open** the project you need to import the Automated task into.
2. Browse from your local files or upload a project zip folder.
3. Click **Save** to complete the import process.

### **Download or Share a Project**

To download or share a project in DBSync Cloud Workflow, follow these steps:

1. **Open the Required Project:** Navigate to the project you need to download or share.
2. **Access the Task Menu:** Click the drop-down menu next to **Task**.
3. **Select Create:** Click **Create** from the drop-down menu to download or share the project.
