# Azure Active Directory Setup Process

* Azure Active Directory details in DBSync Replication Profile

### **Using Azure Active Directory For logging in to SQL Server and Azure Synapse**  <a href="#azureactivedirectorysetupprocess-usingazureactivedirectoryforloggingintosqlserverandazuresynapse" id="azureactivedirectorysetupprocess-usingazureactivedirectoryforloggingintosqlserverandazuresynapse"></a>

* Go to the database section and select database type as SQL Server./ Azure Synapse

* Click On ADD Password Authentication checkbox to use the Active directory for the login process.&#x20;

* Enter your Data Base credentials associated with your Azure Active Directory ( check with your admin for your AAD credentials )

* Test the connection and save it.

* Now you can use your SQL server/ Azure Synapse connected through your AAD.
